Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Schnoz, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
The Service
Schnoz is an AI-powered pet recovery platform that helps reunite lost pets with their owners through photo matching, community alerts, and sighting reports. The service is provided as-is. While we work to maintain accuracy and reliability, we cannot guarantee that every lost pet will be found.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating reports. Misuse of the platform — including filing false reports, harassment of other users, or any illegal activity — will result in account termination.
User Content
You retain ownership of photos and content you upload. By posting content to Schnoz, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the pet recovery service. You may remove your content at any time by closing your reports or deleting your account.
Protection Plan
The Protection Plan is a paid subscription that provides enhanced recovery features. Subscriptions are billed annually. Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase if no claims have been filed. The Protection Plan does not guarantee pet recovery — it provides tools and priority access to improve the likelihood of reunion.
Community Guidelines
Schnoz relies on community participation. Users who report sightings, share reports, or contribute to reunions are expected to act in good faith. Do not share other users' personal information outside the platform. Do not contact pet owners for any purpose other than helping reunite them with their pet.
Limitation of Liability
Schnoz is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the service, including but not limited to the outcome of pet recovery efforts. We are not responsible for the actions of other users, the accuracy of AI matching, or the availability of the service at any given time.
